Not So Jenneric
Not So Jenneric is a creator-led reseller shop based in Austin, Texas. Jenn buys liquidation pallets, opens them on camera, and gives every item a next destination — sold, gifted, or donated.
The challenge
Two audiences arrive wanting opposite things. Some viewers want the exact item they just watched come out of a box; others want to do the opening themselves. Most visitors have also never heard of pallet liquidation, so the site has to explain an unfamiliar industry plainly without sounding defensive about it.
Our approach
We split the shop into two unmistakable paths — Shop the Finds and Mystery Boxes — so nobody buys the wrong kind of surprise. A three-step explainer covers where the stock actually comes from, and every mystery box carries a plain-language disclosure of what is and is not guaranteed. The identity leans all the way into the unboxing: kraft board, packing tape, stickers and a handwritten accent.
